Multi-blade rip saw blades have been widely used due to their significant advantages, such as easy operation, high yield, high work efficiency, and high raw material utilization. In the actual production process, they greatly improve the speed and efficiency of industrial production. However, neglecting daily maintenance can significantly shorten the service life of multi-blade rip saws. Here’s how to maintain them effectively:

How to Maintain Multi-Blade Rip Saws?
1. Main Motor Belt Inspection and Adjustment
Regularly check the length and tightness of the main motor belt to ensure it is in optimal condition. If the belt is too tight or too loose, it can cause a series of problems. Adjust the belt in a timely manner if any issues are found.
2. Saw Blade Storage and Grinding
When not in use, the multi-blade rip saw blade should be stored flat or hung through the inner hole. Avoid stacking other items on top of the flat saw blade or stepping on it. Ensure moisture-proof and rust-proof measures are in place. When the saw blade becomes dull and the cutting surface is rough, sharpen it in a timely manner, maintaining the original angle to prevent damage to the dynamic balance of the saw blade.

3. Inner Diameter Correction and Positioning Hole Processing Specifications
Inner diameter correction and positioning hole processing of multi-blade rip saw blades must be performed by the manufacturer. Non-professional processing may affect the product’s performance and pose safety hazards. When expanding the hole, the diameter of the expanded hole should not exceed the original hole diameter by more than 20 mm to avoid affecting the stress balance of the saw blade.
4. Requirements for Cleaning and Installation of Related Parts
Regularly clean the cushion sleeve, saw blade, and navigation piece with diesel, typically every 3-5 days. After cleaning, wipe the surfaces with a clean cloth. During installation, ensure that no debris is left on the cushion sleeve, saw blade, or navigation piece, as this can affect the normal operation of the equipment and reduce sawing accuracy.
By following these maintenance practices, you can extend the service life of multi-blade rip saws and ensure optimal performance in furniture production and wood processing.
