Product Description

Cyclone Dust Collector 02

The woodworking cyclone dust collector is specifically designed for the woodworking industry. It uses centrifugal force to separate wood dust, such as sawdust and wood shavings, from the dust-laden air. The working principle involves spinning the dusty air at high speed inside the cylinder. Heavier dust particles are thrown against the cylinder wall by centrifugal force and eventually fall into the dust collection hopper, while the purified air is discharged from the center. It features a simple structure, low resistance, and high air handling capacity, making it highly suitable for wood processing, furniture manufacturing, flooring production, and other related fields.

Features of Cyclone Dust Collector

High-Efficiency Dust Removal: The cyclone dust collector utilizes cyclone separation technology to rapidly separate dust from the air stream, achieving highly effective filtration.

Low Energy Consumption: The woodworking cyclone dust collector operates with minimal energy usage, requiring only a small motor to drive the centrifugal mechanism.

Easy Maintenance: Featuring a modular design, the cyclone dust collector simplifies maintenance tasks such as filter bag replacement and system adjustments.

Compact Size: With its space-saving structure, the woodworking cyclone dust collector not only optimizes floor space but also helps reduce operational costs.

Eco-Friendly: Constructed from non-toxic and pollution-free materials, the cyclone dust collector effectively purifies industrial exhaust containing harmful gases, fully complying with environmental standards.

Working Principle of Cyclone Dust Collector

Airflow Rotation
The dust-laden air enters the cyclone drum at high speed through the tangential inlet, forming an outer vortex that spirals downward along the inner wall. During this process, the gas follows a circular path, generating strong centrifugal forces.

Dust Separation
The centrifugal forces throw dust particles, which are denser than the gas, toward the drum wall. Larger particles (such as wood chips) slide directly down the wall into the collection hopper due to inertia, while smaller particles travel with the outer vortex to the bottom of the cone section.

Inner Vortex and Air Purification
Upon reaching the cone bottom, the outer vortex reverses direction due to the tapered shape, forming an upward-flowing inner vortex. The purified air is discharged through the central exhaust pipe, while any remaining uncaptured dust particles are carried out with the inner vortex airflow.

Application of Cyclone Dust Collector for Woodworking

Furniture Manufacturing Industry
In furniture factories, processes such as wood cutting, sanding, and planing generate significant amounts of wood chips and dust. Cyclone dust collectors efficiently separate large particulate matter like wood chips, safeguarding the workshop environment, reducing health risks to workers, and minimizing the potential for fire hazards caused by dust accumulation.

Wood Processing Enterprises
Operations including sawing, joining, and carving wood produce dust particles of varying sizes. Cyclone dust collectors effectively capture wood chips and larger dust particles, reducing the overall dust concentration in the workshop. This improves the production environment and helps extend the service life of machinery.

Wood Product Manufacturing Plants
In the production of items such as doors, windows, flooring, and moldings, cyclone dust collectors can be integrated with production equipment to promptly capture generated dust. This ensures a clean production environment while enhancing both product quality and operational efficiency.

Woodworking Workshops
For small-scale woodworking shops or individual workshops, cyclone dust collectors serve as an economical and practical solution. They effectively manage dust generated during woodworking operations, improve working conditions, and protect workers’ health.

ZZCHRYSO Cyclone Dust Collector – FAQ

A: It separates sawdust, wood chips, and larger dust particles from the air stream using centrifugal force. Our ZZCHRYSO cyclone is designed for furniture factories, wood processing plants, and workshops – keeping the air clean, reducing fire risk, and protecting workers’ lungs.

A: Dusty air enters the cylinder at high speed through a tangential inlet. It spins rapidly, creating centrifugal force that throws heavy particles (chips, dust) against the wall. They slide down into the collection hopper. Cleaner air reverses direction and exits through the center pipe. Simple, no filters to clog for the heavy stuff.

A: Four models: CRS‑5.5 (7000 m³/h), CRS‑7.5 (8500 m³/h), CRS‑11 (12200 m³/h), and CRS‑15 (14600 m³/h). Power ranges from 5.5 kW to 15 kW. The cartridge filter size is 450×1000 mm (polyester). Choose based on the number of machines you need to connect.

A: Standard air inlet diameter is ∅300 mm (customizable). The inlet height from ground is 1850 mm (center distance). The ash bucket volume is 170 liters (single or double depending on model).

A: Yes. It uses only a small motor to drive the centrifugal mechanism – much less energy than a baghouse or cartridge system trying to pull air through dense filters. Our ZZCHRYSO design keeps your electric bill lower while handling high air volumes.

A: Daily: empty the ash bucket, check for dust buildup on the cyclone wall. Weekly: inspect the inlet and exhaust for blockages, clean the cartridge filter (if equipped). Monthly: check seals and motor bearings. The modular design makes maintenance easy – no complicated internal components.

A: Furniture manufacturing (cutting, sanding, planing), wood processing plants (sawing, joining, carving), wood product factories (doors, windows, flooring), and small woodworking workshops. Anywhere that generates wood chips and coarse dust.

A: Absolutely. It captures dust before it escapes into the atmosphere, reducing particulate emissions. The collected wood waste can be reused as biomass fuel or compost. The materials are non‑toxic and comply with environmental standards.

A: Yes. It works as a pre‑separator before a secondary filter (like a cartridge or baghouse). You can place it between your dust pickup points and a fine filter to extend filter life. Our ZZCHRYSO cyclones have standard inlets/outlets for easy connection.

A: CRS‑5.5: 1820×860×2690 mm, 345 kg; CRS‑7.5: 2070×1850×2690 mm, 355 kg; CRS‑11: ~710 kg; CRS‑15: ~720 kg. All are shipped in wooden cases, bolted for safe transport. Contact us for custom sizes or voltage if 380V/50Hz is not your standard.
